CFW (Continuous filament winding) machine, is designed to manufacture GRP Pipe (Glass reinforced polyester pipe) with high production Speed and wide range of products. CFW machine is PLC base which have full control on all device of machine during Production of pipe. This advance machine producing pipes by using multi technology like Filament winding technology, multi layer composites structure, Fast Cross-link polymers and etc.
CFW Machines is Ideal choose where require high production capacity for producing GRP pipes with range of from 250 mm diameter up to 4000 mm diameter, pressure class between 1 up to 32 bar and stiffness class between 1000 up to 10000 Pascal. This machine production pipes specially use for Potable water transport, raw water transport, sewerage collection systems, irrigation water transport systems, wide range of industrial liquid material transport applications, petrochemical transport line both at undergrand and aboveground installation
The glass fiber laminate is applied onto the moving mandrel according to the following procedure: firstly a release film, e.g. polyester film, is wound on the mandrel, followed by a c-veil, both of them supported by proper winders. Glass roving, together with chopped glass, sand aggregate and polyester resin, is applied simultaneously in predetermined positions, according to design specifications. Finally, a layer of surfacing veil is applied.
According to the process philosophy, the inner layer provides the required chemical resistance, while the material applied over the liner layer represents the mechanical resistant outer layer. The pipe’s layers can easily be made in compliance with the appropriate design by controlling the quantity & sequence of various materials applied. After the curing, the pipe is automatically cut and calibrated to the required length by a suitable cutting unit. The laminate building-up can be easily made in compliance with the appropriate design by controlling the amount and position of various materials applied.
