Sleeve Grooving Machine

Introduction:

Sleeve Grooving Machine designed for sleeve grooving and cutting operation. Sleeves are made from a branch, which is produced on C.F.W Machine or single sleeve produced on Sleeve Coupling Production Machine. In CFW Machine for an easier Sleeve Production, the Sleeves has to be cut on 4 meter length.

Process Explanation:

The Sleeve branch come to Sleeve Grooving Machine. It's supporting by the support wheels which are driven by the gear box.

Grooving motor, belt system and grooving tool set are mounted on hinged support plate which connected to the hydraulic cylinder. This system start to groove the sleeve for making gasket position inside of sleeve coupling.

When grooving is finished, sleeve cutting operation starts, while the sleeve is still rotating. After sleeve removal, the rest of Sleeve branch is moved forward with hydraulic supports toward the correct position for new sleeve production.

Feature:

Sleeve Grooving Machine is a Computer control and PLC base Fully Automated machine with smart protection to prevent any fault during grooving and cutting process. It will help to reduce the wastage of production.

Optional Add-on:

Due to grinding and cutting operations, dust is a side product. Dust Suction System or Wate Screen System can be added on machine according to customer requirement.

Maximum Power Consumption = 25 kW
Maximum Compressed Air Consumption = 6 bar, 1 m3/min

One person as supervision for all Line Auxiliary Equipment
One person as machine captain per shift
One person as machine operator per shift
