DFW Machine

DFW Machine Introduction

DFW (Discontinuous filament winding) machine, is designed to manufacture GRP Pipe (Glass reinforced polyester pipe) with easy method and wide range of  products. DFW machine is PLC base which have full control on all device of machine during Production of pipe.  This advance machine producing pipes by using multi technology like Filament winding technology, multi layer composites structure, Fast Cross-link polymers and etc.

DFW Machines is Ideal choose where require low investment for producing GRP pipes with range of from 80 mm diameter up to 4000 mm diameter, pressure class between 1 up to 32 bar and stiffness class between 1000 up to 10000 Pascal.
This machine production pipes specially use for Potable water transport, raw water transport,  sewerage collection systems, irrigation water transport systems, wide range of industrial liquid material transport applications, petrochemical transport line both at undergrand and aboveground installation

GRP pipes production cycle with DFW Machine:

Molding the Chemical Resistant Liner

A film of material is applied to the mould and, thereafter, the first plies of special glass reinforcements are laid up and retain a very high percentage of corrosion resistant resin. This operation enables a fully impermeable wall to be obtained with a high resistance to chemicals.

‍Pipe Curing

To prevent dropping of resin from mould and reducei the quality of produced Liner curing operation is carried out while the mould is rotating in its own axis. Curing of liner is made with adding resin agents with special ratio and using infrared ray by using electrical IR lamps.

Winding the Reinforcement

The structural part of the pipe is made by the filament winding of continuous glass yarns (roving) impregnated with resin. The pitch of the winding is spiral thereby, the angle formed between the layers and the axis of the pipe are determined during the design work and depends on the stresses to be withstood. At the same time as filament winding is taking place.
a separate system adding filler (like silica sand), roving fibers and resin as layer during production of pipe to meet the stiffness factor of pipe.

‍Pipe Curing

mould is rotating in its own axis while Curing of pipes is made with adding resin agents with special ratio and using infrared ray by using electrical IR lamps.

‍Mold Extraction

The cured pipe bar should extract from the mold , this operation takes place in Extraction system. this system is a dedicated working station controlled by a system which allows to automatically carrying out the different working steps.
